Java Programmer

Job Description:

Development & Maintenance

Be involved in the whole software lifecycle (R&D, designing, developing, debugging, testing, development, and maintenance) of existing and new solutions of Library Management Systems and it’s supporting applications

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting issues raised by customers and providing its resolution for all on-going projects

Team Work

Work as part of team to meet project targets and quality objectives.

Production

Keep production system up and running.

Self-Management

Fix production problems in a safe and timely manner to minimize the duration of unscheduled outages.

Analyzation

Analyze and identify the root cause of production problems reported by implemented countries.

Risk-Taking

Assist in assessing risk of production change or task.

Resolutions

Provide pointers to those needing problem resolutions.

Improvements

Identify areas for service improvements.

Performance

Perform production services requests.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Java programming (Networking, Swing, J2EE/Tomcat/JSP, Client-server).
• Google GWT / HTML5 programming knowledge for mobile and dekstop solutions.
• Web programming skills e.g. in PHP, HTML, Javascript, MYSQL.
• Experienced in Linux/Windows environment and configuration will be a plus.
• Candidate must be of Malaysian nationals only.
• Expected Start Date: 01/11/2020

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM3,500.00 – RM6,000.00 per month
