Search Capabilities
When users view a record, they will be offered suggestions of resources that are similar to the resource they are currently viewing.
Phrases are matched with the keyword entered by users and suggestions are made for further query.
Allows users to save their queries or records and granted permanent access to bookmarked resources.
Faceted Search
Faceted (or navigational) search uses a hierarchy structure (taxonomy) to enable users to browse information by choosing from a pre-determined set of categories.
It allows a user to type in their simple query, then refine their search options by navigating/drilling down.
Instead of the user having to think of the additional search categories, it’s been made easier for them by the visible folder structure.
Speed of Retrieval
User can use the library catalog / metadata as a starting point to browse and explore all the resources that NeuAxis offers.
Users are able to search the central metadata index at the service provider, browse metadata and obtain full document from individual repository.
QR Code
NeuAxis has the capability of generating the QR code.
It provides direct link to the resources within NeuAxis.
Easy to scan QR code using 2D barcode scanner or smart phone QR code apps.
Responsive Design
NeuAxis responsive design interface has been constructed so that all of the content, images and structure of the NeuAxis remains the same on any device to provide a great user-experience across many devices and screen sizes.
Responsive applications have lower bounce rates as compared to non-responsive counterparts. NeuAxis responsive page offers all the search content to users in a package that is easy to view and manage, hence ultimately keeping users on NeuAxis page and reducing the bounce rate.
Exporting and Sharing
Formatted data can be shared with multiple systems, such as Zotero or other web-based citation services.
Ability to export records to citation software (Endnote, Refworks, & other citation software).
Print/Email/Save function, with ability to select multiple items from multiple points in the search process (bibliographic record, search results screen). Results are delivered in a user‐friendly format.
